JEALOUS lover Luke Dillon angrily threatened to kill his ex- girlfriend's new boyfriend, a court heard. Dillon, 23, of Humberston Avenue, Humberston, admitted harassing Annelise Akers between June 1 and September 5. Dennis Aisthorpe, prosecuting, told Grimsby magistrates that Dillon phoned Miss Akers, screamed down the phone and threatened to kill her after she told him she had a new boyfriend.

AFTER we printed an appeal for information about aeroplanes that used to be located on land somewhere near where Pleasure Island now stands, Jeff Beedham got in touch. Jeff said: "With regard to the corroding aircraft near the site of the old zoo at Cleethorpes, they were actually part of the short- lived Bomber County Aircraft Museum which was founded by local enthusiasts - the majority of which was inside the old refurbished elephant house with its distinctive curved roof.
