Resort Will Rock to Sounds of New Beautiful South
NEW Beautiful South singer Dave Hemmingway is hoping to attract crowds of music fans when the band takes to the stage at the Cleethorpes Rocks Festival. The singer said he hoped the performance would be more successful than his last appearance in the resort 23 years ago, when only a handful of people turned out to see his former band, the Veletones, at the Submarine.

News Is 'Reassuring and Heart-Warming'
JENNY Walton, the chairwoman of Humber Action Against Tolls, has headed up a campaign to scrap the Humber Bridge debt and the tolls in their entirety. She was diagnosed with cancer in the late 1990s and has been receiving regular treatment at Hull Royal Infirmary since 2000, travelling across the bridge from her home in Kirmington for appointments.
