It's widely known that Her Majesty The Queen visited Brigg in 1977, as she did many towns throughout Britain during her Silver Jubilee year.
Next year, of course, will see her Diamond Jubilee, marking 60 years, with Brigg again among the communities holding special celebrations. Her Majesty's 25th anniversary visit to Brigg on July 12 saw many townsfolk visiting the Recreation Ground to watch history being made and a pageant staged.See the full content of this document
