Now it's much clearer: according to German Husqvarna managing director Klaus Alistat, the aim is to position Husqvarna just as MINI is to BMW's car division, a standalone brand with its own character and style, but linked enough for technical synergies and cost savings. He is also hoping Husqvarna sales will grow in the next few years from around 10,000 annually to more than 30,000, and that the new Nuda will make a significant contribution to that. The Nuda is significant as Husqvarna's first proper road bike since the early 1960s.
