Britain's second biggest privately-owned car dealers, the Marshall Motor Group, are set to spread their business empire to northern Lincolnshire, it has been revealed. The Cambridge-based firm is in talks to acquire the car dealerships run by F Cross and Sons in Scunthorpe and Grimsby, which employ around 80 staff.
Marshall Group corporate communications director Christopher Walkinshaw said: "We can confirm we are in discussion with F Cross and Sons over acquiring their businesses in Scunthorpe and Grimsby and we hope to conclude a deal within the next few weeks."See the full content of this document
