Pounds 1.5m a Real Catch for Training Scheme ; Yorkshire Forward's Cash Injection Towards New Extension

FUNDING for apprentice excellence in North East Lincolnshire has been boosted, with regional development agency Yorkshire Forward announcing a Pounds 1.5-million injection for Catch. The Stallingborough training facility, a national beacon for process operation skill development, now has more than half of the cash in place to double the size of the facility - plans for which were first revealed in October 2008.

It means more apprentices will be equipped with the vital plant- based learning before starting some of the most rewarding careers on the South Bank and beyond.
