FORMER Mariner Chris Hargreaves believes the finger of blame should be pointed at off-the-field activity at Grimsby Town if the club are relegated from the Football League this season.

The 37-year-old Cleethorpes-born midfielder, who came through the Town ranks and made 64 appearances in the black and white stripes between 1989 and 1993, said the club's gradual decline over the last 10 years is "unacceptable".
