NORTH Lincolnshire Council bosses have sent a letter to the Prime Minster urging government to abolish the Humber Bridge Tolls. Liz Redfern, Mark Kirk and Simon Driver have all signed off a letter following a motion passed unanimously at an extraordinary meeting on June 28. Also sent to the Chancellor, the letter reads that the council not only want government to re-consider the decision to let the tolls go up but to get rid of them completely.
In the letter, council officials say: "We write not only on behalf of the hard-pressed tax payers of North Lincolnshire but on behalf of tax payers and businesses across the Humber area.See the full content of this document
