A FRESH attack on Humber Bridge tolls has been launched after councillors unanimously agreed to mount "full-scale resistance" to a tolls increase. But the shine was taken off an extraordinary council meeting when it emerged a Conservative councillor had voted for a tolls hike at the last meeting of the Humber Bridge Board.

Everyone at the meeting voted in favour of Cllr Mark Kirk's motion to renew pressure on the Government to cut tolls and fund road schemes such as the A160, with 38 votes for.
