FIRE chiefs are urging residents to be vigilant when it comes to electrical safety after a nine-year-old girl was rescued from a blaze in her bedroom which was caused by a faulty fan.
The girl - who cannot be named - from St Nicholas Drive, Grimsby, woke in the middle of the night to a ball of flames engulfing the electrical fan that sat on her bedside table, just inches away from her face.See the full content of this document
