An appeal is to be made against a refusal to allow a high- security, private car park to be built near the new Pounds 15.3 million Baths Hall in Scunthorpe. Planners at North Lincolnshire Council have turned down the scheme submitted by the locally-based Hunt Group for the site of the former Scunthorpe Telegraph offices in Doncaster Road.
The planners ruled that the proposed access arrangements and internal layout for the 100-vehicle car park would result in extra hazards to motorists and pedestrians using Doncaster Road.See the full content of this document
