ONE day in 1959 three Bridlington fishermen who were catching dogfish off the more prolific north coast of Scotland offered to keep Rex supplied between November and January.
They operated out of a tiny harbour, nearly 500 miles north, called Loch Clash. Rex said: "I was paying 6d (2.5p) a stone. It cost me two shillings a stone (10p) to send them to Grimsby where I was getting over eight shillings (40p) so it wasn't a bad little profit in those days."See the full content of this document
