Recession, what recession? my sister asked as we entered the nightclub at a recent Butlins 80s-themed weekend. It was like the busiest New Year's Eve anyone could imagine. It was hot, ten deep at the bar and absolutely heaving. And lots of people had plenty of money to spend.
