CAISTOR Arts And Heritage Centre has made quite a name for itself since opening six months ago and featuring on prime-time BBC television. The sun was streaming through the windows and some diners were using the popular sun terrace when we stepped inside, deciding not to brave the autumn chill.

The decor of the cafe is light, bright and modern. The display sign above the cafe counter states: "Caistor to be a Victorian Town of crafts, industry and agriculture," recording the fire of 1681 and of how the majority of the timber houses in the town were destroyed.
