GRANTS for new plant and machinery and relaxed planning rules could encourage another major manufacturer in the renewables industry to follow Siemens to the Humber region. Business leaders met yesterday to establish the boundaries for an enterprise zone - a concept designed by the Government to boost the economy by creating jobs and attracting investment.

At a meeting held last night at the Hull And Humber Chamber of Commerce, the board of the Humber Local ES nterprise Partnership (LEP) agreed on a zone that spans both banks of the Humber.
