Summary
INITIAL figures on the national Alternative Vote referendum on whether to change the way MPs are elected showed turnout in Yorkshire and the Humber was 39.9 per cent.
The figures released by the Electoral Commission for eight of the 12 regions were: London 35.4 per cent. South West 44.6 per cent, Eastern 43.1 per cent, West Midlands 39.8 per cent, Yorkshire and the Humber 39.9 per cent, North West 39.1 per cent, North East 38.7 per cent, and Scotland 50.7 per cent.See the full content of this document
