Summary

AS the summer holidays beckon, so does the underwater paradise of The Rainbow Fish - the latest production for young children and their families presented by Birdhouse Theatre. This brand new stage adaptation of the classic children's book by Marcus Pfister is performed by Blunderbus Theatre Company and takes places at Cleethorpes Memorial Hall on Saturday, July 24. There are two shows at 11am and 2pm, and the production is aimed specifically at youngsters aged 4 to 7. During the funny fishy tale, children are invited to swim with The Rainbow Fish and are whisked away on a deep- sea adventure. The Rainbow Fish, with her shimmering scales, is the most beautiful fish in the ocean.

But she is proud and vain, and none of the other fish want to be her friends. Not until she learns to give away some of her most prized possessions.
