Frank Brought Much Happiness During Life [Edition 2]

Summary

A TRIBUTE to Frank Burrows: "We are the boys and girls well known as Minors of the ABC and every Saturday all line up to see the films we like and shout aloud with glee. We like to have our little sing song, such a happy crowd are we, we're all pals together, were Minors of the ABC."

I joined the Minors in 1947, aged 11. I played trumpet on stage as a volunteer and got to know Frank. Around 1965 I played with Frank and Colin Drane on drums at Ashby Labour Club for a short stint. I later became a "club twin" and was accompanied by Frank and Barry Bradley on drums at the Coronation Club in Frodingham.
