Summary
TWO friends appeared before Grimsby magistrates after a "misunderstanding" over their car insurance. Joshua Atkinson, 19, of St Andrews Way, Immingham, admitted driving Ross Lowther's Fiat Stilo along Kings Road, Immingham, without third party insurance. He borrowed the car from Lowther, 20, of Corfe Walk, Immingham, on September 12 and was pulled over by a patrolling police car at 12.15am because one of the car's side lights was out.
Grimsby Magistrates' Court heard he was driving Lowther's car because they wanted a pizza but Atkinson's car had broken down.See the full content of this document
