We're not allowed to drive big cars any more, right? I'm sure I read that somewhere and pretty much everyone I know seems to be downsizing, so it must be true. And quite honestly, with petrol around Pounds 1.36 a litre if you're lucky, why would you? So it's micro-minis for me, from now on ... but, hang on, I've just got this new Peugeot in the car park and they're leaving it with me for a week. Shame not to try it out ... I'm sure you understand.
The 508 seems to fly in the face of all the preconceptions I harbour about Peugeots and, in fact, French cars in general. They (Peugeot, Renault, Citroen) do very good small cars - some of the best of a big bunch - but big cars? They don't exactly set the pulses racing, do they?
