That's the frank admission of Isle of Man TT racer and self- confessed 'petrol-head' Guy Martin, who survived a terrifying 170mph crash at the famous TT course earlier this year.

But despite the accident, which left Martin nursing a broken spine, punctured lung and broken ribs, the 29-year-old racer's love of the sport remains as strong as ever.

"Me and the other racers have that in common, that bloody- mindedness," he explained from his parent's home in Kirmington.

"It's a bit different from being a footballer, cricketer or tennis player - those boys don't have that risk do they? A grass cut or broke...
