Summary
April 10, 1937: With the forefoot split open and the forepeak full of water, the Grimsby trawler Thomas Thresher was safely docked at Grimsby. The trawler ran aground on the north point of Holburn Head shortly after leaving Scrabster Harbour late on the night of April 2.
April 10, 1963: Mr Frank Page, 29, a donkeyman/greaser, of Granville Street, Grimsby, was awarded a resuscitation certificate by the Royal Humane Society for saving a man from electrocution. Mr Page was on board the SS Esso Windsor, berthed in Bailey''s Dock, Malta, when the foreman electrician received a severe electric shock.
