WILLOWS Primary School has been treated as a "scapegoat" and closing it would be like "ripping the heart out of the community", according to parents and supporters.

Emma Moore, 28, whose four-year-old daughter Ebony attends the nursery, said: "The council said that we have not got the numbers and that children who go to the nursery don't count because they don't necessarily stay on. That is absolute rubbish."
