The potential loss of 35 jobs at North East Lincolnshire social landlord Shoreline Housing is an "important and prudent" move in light of the economic crisis, says its chief executive.

As reported, Shoreline Housing Partnership has warned the short- term "financial squeeze" created by the credit crunch means it must cut pounds6.4-million - eight per cent - from its budget in the next four years.
