Summary
For six hours one night last week I sat in a hospital with a newly admitted patient who was lying on a trolley in a corridor as were six other people.
All the time beds were being pushed along the same corridor and a kitchen was in constant use for making cups of tea. People were being interviewed in two rooms and there was a constant flow of staff. The patients were there all night.See the full content of this document
