THE Christmas meeting of the North Thoresby and District WI took place in the Village Hall with president Audrey Foster, who thanked Linda Dickinson and Ann Loftus for being hostesses. A Christmas craft fair was held and the president thanked all those who had helped, especially Annette Brewell, events co-ordinator. Jess sang various songs, a faith supper followed and a vote of thanks was given by Ann Loftus. A Christmas table decoration competition was judged and the winner was Lynda Larder with Angela Hawkins second.

Members held a Christmas party for the village's pensioners. Children from the primary school entertained. Many thanks are due to the local businesses, which very generously donate raffle prizes every year.
