VOLUNTEERS turned up in numbers for the Big Tidy Up 2009 in Caistor.

Refreshments from the Multi Use Centre fortified the workers during the four-hour blitz on litter and weeds, targeting the alleyways off the Market Place, Plough Hill, Horsemarket, Nettleton Road, Navigation Lane, Mill Lane, Southdale, Chapel Street, Bank Lane and South Street.
