HERE we go... no sooner have a couple of unknowns been appointed to run all of our lives from Brussels than the edicts start arriving.
We are now told that it is proposed we will not be able to address people as Miss or Mrs. It is deemed that this implies their marital status. So what? Nor will we be able to use words like tradesmen, sportsmen or statesmen.
