TWO Grimsby couples experienced double the love and twice the fun as they tied the knot in a joint ceremony. The rare occasion at St Augustine's Church in Grimsby was followed by a creative Mafia- themed reception. Tristen Stark and Katy Kiddell married at the church at the same time as Tristen's sister Rachel and Lee Wellings. As reported, the couples decided the double celebration would make the day even bigger and cut the cost at the same time. Katy, 29, of Highfield Avenue, said: "The ceremony was great, it was a little weird, but fun as we had loads of guests. My friends and family loved it. "Myself and Rachel wore red and white gowns and the men wore suits from Pronuptia in Grimsby with white waistcoats and ruby cravats. "I held a bouquet of red roses with diamantes in them and my wedding car was a Mercedes." Both couples were married by Father Stephen Jones who said in his 38 years as a vicar, it was the first time he had conducted a double service. Katy's page boys were the couple's sons, Cameron, Leon and Dylan. Bridesmaids were the couple's daughters Brooke, Tori and Ruby and Katy's maid of honour was her sister Cherrelle. Tristen's best men were his son Reece and Dan Perrin, his sister's boyfriend. Rachel and Lee had their sons Ben and Dean as page boys, with Rachel's niece Scarlett as bridesmaid and her maid of honour was her sister Lani. Lee's best man was his son Dan and both couples had a joint reception at The Venue in Grimsby, which was decorated in true Mafia style with a themed cake and poker chips and playing cards as party favours.

The theme was chosen due to the couples' love of the game Mafia Wars. Rachel, 39, of Rutland Street said: "I felt very happy to finally be married and it was a great day.
